The LIMBITLESS Podcast -- Men's Alliance Mondays is adding a new twist to the series: Men's Alliance style devo's (devotionals for those new to MA content).

This first devo is "The Burpee Shrug"

The Burpee Shrug is a premeditated point of failure a tribesman willingly accepts prior to arriving at tribe ops. It is the common combined physical and verbal response a tribesman provides when he is unprepared for the MA monthly bible verse.

It is the mindset of, "I would rather suffer through a known amount of burpees than sharpen myself spiritually by memorizing the monthly Bible verse. The dangerous slippery slope of the Burpee Shrug mindset is -- what else are you shrugging off in your life?

Men's Alliance rule #8 is, "Show up every week and bring it." The majority of men would apply this rule to the physical sharpening portion of tribe. I challenge all tribesmen to apply rule #8 to their spiritual life as well. Show up to tribe every week and bring it physically AND spiritually.

There are talented archers, and there are gifted archers. Episode 50 hosts one of the gifted archers of the traditional community, Matt Zirnsak from the Push Archery. Not only is Matt an accomplished competitive archer, he is a gifted teacher as well. Being that one of my ...ism's is, "Knowledge is power. Sharing knowledge is powerful," I view Matt as gifted through his ability to shoot (and shoot well he does), and teach.

In my journey back into traditional archery I found the Push Archery on YouTube and started watching as much content as I could. This led me to contacting Matt and asking him to record an episode on the LIMBITLESS Podcast.

The most difficult part about listening to and watching Matt with traditional equipment is he makes it sound and look so easy.

The LIMBITLESS Podcast -- Men's Alliance Mondays series is hosting John "MacGyver" Martin, hailing out of Calvary Tribe, Syracuse, New York.

I met MacGyver when he reached out to notify me he was planning to visit my tribe, Shore Tribe, and planning to lead the Devo the night of his visit. The connection continued from there. Following MacGyver's visit at Shore Tribe, I was able to host my fellow tribesman on the Salty Dren for some inshore fishing in Sinepuxent Bay, off the inner shoreline of Assateague Island (this episode was filmed on the bow of my 20' skiff, the Salty Dren).

MacGyver shares his testimony, his association and connection with Men's Alliance, and shares how much of an impact Men's Alliance and being a member of a tribe has changed and impacted his life.
