This week on Cinemeh, @BeepCount, Pow, and Paddy suit up for Captain America: The First Avenger, the movie that introduced the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Star-Spangled Avenger.
The crew discusses Steve Rogers' transformation from a scrawny underdog into the world's first super soldier, the film's unique World War II setting, and whether this origin story still stands among the best in the MCU. Along the way, they break down the action, the heart, the period-piece atmosphere, and one unforgettable red skull.
The guys also debate whether Captain America is one of Marvel's most underrated heroes, revisit the movie's emotional ending, and discuss how The First Avenger laid the groundwork for everything that followed in the MCU.
So grab your shield and join us as we decide whether Captain America: The First Avenger is Yeh, Meh, or Feh.
