Kintsugi Talks

Di: Saroya Brown
  • Riassunto

  • Kintsugi means "joining with gold" in Japanese. The centuries old art is more than an aesthetic. For the japanese, it's part of a broader philosophy of embracing the beauty of human flaws. It reminds us that something can break and yet still be beautiful. Once it's repaired, it's stronger in the places it was once broken. Here I want to bridge the gap in having conversations about God, Mental Health/Illness, and everything in between whole also showing that what you consider to be broken and/or imperfect, God sees as a masterpiece. • A New Season
    Jul 28 2023

Dating isn't easy for anyone, especially those who live with Mental Health/Illness issues.

I'm now single for the first time in a good while 😅 and there has of course been some challenges that have come along with at, as well as dealing with deep seated emotions/feelings that I'm now allowing to come up to the surface and work through that I've kept hidden.

For those who come across this episode, I hope it not only brings comfort to those who may be in the same boat as me, but also some knowledge gained by people who weren't made known of things of this nature before.
