  • DAY 41 Ezekiel 25–48 The Promise of Renewal | 12 WEEKS - 84 DAYS THROUGH THE BIBLE
    May 5 2026

DAY 41 | Ezekiel 25–48 | (JUDGMENT ON NATIONS AND VISION OF RESTORATION)

From Judgment to Restoration: The Promise of Renewal

    Ezekiel’s message now shifts.

After declaring judgment on Israel, God turns His attention outward—to the surrounding nations. None are exempt from His authority.

Yet the latter portion of Ezekiel introduces one of the most powerful transitions in Scripture:

    From judgment → to restoration.

    God begins to reveal:

    • Future renewal • Spiritual transformation • A restored people • A restored presence

The same God who judged now promises to rebuild.

    This shift is essential:

Judgment is not the final word—restoration is.

DAY 39 | Jeremiah 40–52 | Lamentations 1–5 (Aftermath of Jerusalem’s fall; grief, reflection, and hope) Judgment Fulfilled and the Cry of a Broken Nation

What was warned is now reality.

    Jerusalem has fallen.

    The temple is destroyed.

The people are scattered or exiled.

The Kingdom as they knew it has collapsed.

Jeremiah remains among the remnant, witnessing the devastation. Leadership is unstable. Fear governs decisions. Even after judgment, rebellion continues as people resist God’s instruction and flee to Egypt.

    Amid this devastation, Lamentations emerges.

It is not merely poetry—it is theological grief.

Jeremiah gives voice to sorrow, loss, and reflection. He does not deny the pain, nor does he ignore the cause.

    He acknowledges both:

The severity of judgment The faithfulness of God

This day reveals a deep Kingdom reality:

Grief, when rightly processed, leads to clarity, humility, and hope.

  • DAY 40 Ezekiel 1–24 (Prophetic ministry begins in exile) | 12 WEEKS - 84 DAYS THROUGH THE BIBLE
    May 5 2026

DAY 40 | Ezekiel 1–24 | (Prophetic ministry begins in exile) The Glory of God and the Reality of Judgment

    The setting has shifted.

Jerusalem has fallen. The people are now in exile in Babylon. The temple—the visible center of God’s presence—has been destroyed.

In this moment of disorientation, God raises a new prophetic voice: Ezekiel.

Unlike Jeremiah, who prophesied before and during the fall, Ezekiel speaks from within exile. His ministry begins not in Jerusalem, but in a foreign land.

    And there, something profound happens:

The glory of God appears outside the temple.

This revelation is foundational. God is not confined to geography. His presence is not limited to a building. His authority extends beyond Jerusalem into exile.

Ezekiel’s early chapters are filled with symbolic actions, visions, and warnings. He communicates judgment not only through words, but through dramatic prophetic demonstrations.

    The message is clear:

The exile is not accidental. It is the result of covenant violation.

Yet even in judgment, God is revealing Himself.
