    This week On The Record with Randy Beamer, we talk withVIA Metropolitan Transit President/CEO Jon Gary Herrera about the soon-to-come Silver Line, which will travel east to west across San Antonio. Herrera explains VIA has even built two new offices – one on each end of the Silver Line route- to serve residents in those areas.

    Next, Deb Parsons, President of the Women Veterans of SanAntonio, shares information from their summit this week in San Antonio. The female veterans group is striving toconnect women vets and show them how to access all their due benefits.

    On Reporter’s Roundtable, Randy talks with Diego Medel,Public Safety Reporter for the SA Report, about his article on San Antonio’s crime rate – while the rate is down, the reason for that is not really clear.

Also, why large buoys in the Rio Grande meant to keep out immigrants ended up being sold as scrap metal.
