#hamradio #satellite #KH6WI

I met up with Eric, KH6WI, at Cowan Lake State Park during Dayton Hamvention and he showed me his setup for working ham radio satellites while portable and while doing amateur satellite roves.

I recently completed my first POTA (Parks On The Air) activation Jereme – K5TXY, at Fort Parker State Park (K-3010) in Mexia, TX. In this video, I talk about some of the things I learned during my first Parks On The Air (POTA) activation with my friend and share some tips on how to make your POTA activation easy and more stress free! I learned some things about planning ahead, operating and some things you might want to consider bringing! Check out the video, and see what lessons I learned from my first Parks On The Air activation. 73, KI5IRE!
