On this episode of the podcast Phillip is joined for the first time by friend of the show and media lover John C. The show idea came about because John C. wrote Phillip on Facebook and asked about doing these movies on the show, and Phillip agreed. Quentin likes both of these movies for different reasons which you will hear about on the show. Phillip starts the show by giving the general information for the two movies. It's then time for Listener' Opinions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. John then mentions the music used purposefully in the films. They talk about the history of the music and what it means. Phillip talks a little about mental health and social services. They have a great discussion about the film. It's then time to answer what they saw in these movies that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. Then they individually rate the movies. John and Phillip then answer whether they would buy these movies, rent them, or find them for free. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; The Rip (2026). John C. then gives his movie recommendation; Let The Right One In (2008).
