John 10:10 is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. It's also one of the most misunderstood. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." Most people hear that and think it's a promise of more — more money, more success, more stuff. It isn't. The word Jesus used doesn't mean more. It means something closer to overflowing. The things that make life happy beyond bare survival. Peace. Love. Joy. The things that can't be bought because they were never for sale.
This episode walks through what that verse actually says, who the thief really is, and why so many of us have been quoting it wrong while living proof of the opposite.
• What the word "abundantly" actually means — and why it isn't about money
• Who the thief is — and why it might not be who you were told• Why working yourself hollow is the exact opposite of what the verse promises
• How to tell the difference between surviving and actually living
• The one question the verse forces you to answer
