  • When Did You Stop Having Fun?
    Oct 12 2026

Between work, family responsibilities, and the demands of everyday life, it’s easy to forget what we enjoy doing simply for ourselves. And when life takes an unexpected turn, such as losing a job or facing financial uncertainty, having fun may be the last thing on our minds.

In this episode of the Jo Willow Rose Podcast, I share a personal experience after leaving a company, when a quiet afternoon overlooking the Pacific Ocean brought me an unexpected sense of calm and relief.

We explore how adulthood gradually becomes consumed by responsibilities, why playfulness and enjoyment remain important to our emotional well being, and how we can make room for happiness even during challenging times.

I’ll also guide you through a short meditation, share a simple affirmation, and close with three blessings to carry into your week.

When was the last time you did something simply because it made you happy?

  • Fired, Laid-Off, or Walking Away: What Happens Next?
    Oct 2 2026

Losing a job, being laid off, or making the decision to walk away can leave you wondering what comes next. Each situation carries its own emotions, financial realities, and difficult decisions.

In this episode of the Jo Willow Rose Podcast, I talk about what happens when employment ends unexpectedly and what to consider when you’re thinking about leaving on your own. I also share why preparing an exit plan matters, especially when you’re dealing with an unhealthy or toxic work environment.

Before leaving voluntarily, it’s important to understand your financial situation, research whether you may qualify for unemployment benefits, consider how long you can realistically cover your expenses, and explore what options are available to you.

Sometimes staying becomes difficult, but leaving without preparation can create a different kind of stress. Having a plan can give you more clarity and confidence as you decide what your next step will be.

Whether you’ve been fired, laid off, or you’re considering walking away, this conversation is about understanding your options, protecting yourself as much as possible, and moving forward with intention.

  • Receiving Without Guilt
    Sep 26 2026

What happens when you have spent years taking care of everything yourself, and then someone comes into your life and says, “I’ve got you”?

In this episode of the Jo Willow Rose Podcast, I talk about learning how to receive support after years of being highly independent. I share my experience as a single mother, what I am learning in my relationship with Michael, and why accepting help can feel surprisingly vulnerable when you are used to being the strong one.

We also talk about trust, safe support, and how past disappointments can shape the way we respond when someone genuinely wants to be there for us.

This episode includes three simple exercises, a weekly affirmation, a short meditation, and a closing blessing.

If you are usually the person everyone depends on, ask yourself this:

Are you allowing the people who love you to support you too? ⭐️

  • The Cost of Being the One Everyone Counts On
    Sep 11 2026

What happens when you become the person everyone counts on?

At work, you are dependable. At home, you take care of everyone. People know they can call you, rely on you, and trust that you will get things done. But over time, being the reliable one can come with a cost.

In this episode of the Jo Willow Rose Podcast, I share my own experience of learning to create more balance in my life and why hiring a life and business coach helped me rethink how I was prioritizing my career, relationships, and personal life.

I also share the story of Amanda, a successful leader with ten direct reports who was equally relied upon at home. She was capable, successful, and always available, even while on vacation. Behind all of that responsibility, her life had become overwhelming and chaotic.

We talk about boundaries, the pressure that comes with being highly capable, and what can happen when everyone becomes accustomed to you always being available.

The episode closes with a brief meditation, an affirmation for the week, and a final blessing.

If you are usually the strong one, the dependable one, or the person everyone calls, this conversation is for you. 💚

  • When You Don’t Know What Comes Next
    Sep 18 2026

What happens when you reach a point in life where you genuinely don’t know what comes next?

I had already been asking myself this question as I reassessed my career and considered what I want the next part of my life to look like. Then, the unexpected passing of someone very dear and close to me made me look at the question differently.

In this episode of the Jo Willow Rose Podcast, I talk about reassessing what matters to us now, where we are spending our time, what we may be putting off, and whether the life we are living reflects what we say is important to us.

I also share a simple exercise to identify the three things that matter most to you right now, along with journal prompts, a guided meditation, an affirmation for the week, and a final blessing.

You may not know exactly what comes next. Perhaps the place to begin is understanding what matters to you now. ✨

  • Ho’oponopono Prayer
    Jul 29 2026

This episode is a continuous recitation of the Ho’oponopono Prayer, an ancient Hawaiian practice centered on forgiveness, reconciliation, love, and personal responsibility.

Many people around the world were introduced to Ho’oponopono through Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, a psychologist who worked at the Hawaii State Hospital on Oahu. According to his account, rather than treating patients through traditional therapy, he practiced Ho’oponopono while reviewing each patient’s file, focusing on healing within himself. Over time, many patients reportedly experienced remarkable improvements, numerous individuals were released, and the ward eventually closed. His story has inspired thousands to embrace this simple yet profound practice.

There is no introduction or commentary in this episode. It is simply the uninterrupted repetition of the Ho’oponopono Prayer, allowing you to meditate, reflect, and make it part of your daily spiritual practice.

May these sacred words bring peace to your mind, healing to your heart, and calm to your spirit.

  • A Tribute to Ms. Dorothy: When Love Doesn't End
    Jul 1 2026

Every once in a while, someone enters your life and quietly changes it forever.

In this heartfelt episode, I share the story of my dear friend, Ms. Dorothy, whose friendship became one of the greatest gifts of my life. We talked on the phone almost every day, shared countless conversations, and through it all she reminded me of one simple message: Have faith.

This episode is my tribute to her, but it's also for anyone who has loved and lost someone special. Together we'll reflect on the people who shape our lives, the memories they leave behind, and the ways their love continues long after they're gone.

The episode also includes a short, guided meditation, a weekly affirmation, journal prompts, and blessings to help you honor someone who still holds a special place in your heart.

  • Who Are You When You’re Not Chasing Anything?
    Jun 11 2026

For most of my life, I felt like I was working toward something. There was always a goal, a plan, or a next step that needed my attention.

Lately, I’ve been paying attention differently. Instead of constantly asking, “What’s next?” I’ve found myself focusing more on what’s happening right now.

In this episode, I reflect on how little of life actually unfolded according to the timeline I imagined, why I’m becoming more comfortable with unanswered questions, and what it means to trust the process when the next chapter isn’t fully clear.

If you’ve ever felt pressure to have everything figured out, this conversation is for you.
