Of course, an hour is not enough to cover each and every story in the scriptures, but I did my best to cover the major moments that would define the Nation of Israel as a people and G-d's Covenantal relationship with them.

The 400 years between the last words of the Tanakh (or Old Testament) and the Gospels are absolutely critical to understanding who the Jews of the New Testament were and what they were expecting of G-d, the Messiah and of themselves.
