There are soooo many ways to play Heroscape and in the opinion of one of the hosts -- take a guess who -- it's the game's greatest strength. Turns out the guest for this episode agrees. Ken and Gordon chat with Ben "Earl of Sandwich" Lostocco, ScapeCon's Event Designer these past few years.

Format is King!

Everyone knows that maps play an important part in Heroscape. It's the first thing someone notices when walking by if they've never seen a game of Heroscape before, and experienced players will tell you how and why the map can affect a match.

But making a good map isn't easy. Mapmakers Gamebear and Flash_19 join the 'cast to share their insights. Find out the differences between maps from over 15 years ago versus maps made today, how terrain sets play a part, and what are their goals when making them.

Last month we explored a casual player's perpsective. Now we do the opposite and get Isaac's thoughts on what it's like to be a Heroscape organizer. So tune for some dad jokes and another three hour tour...a three hour tour (bonus points if you're young and still get that reference).

Gordon and Ken interview Derek "Vecna" Haddock to get a better understanding of what casual play means to him.
