A proposito di questo titolo
Do you ever sit in church and wonder, 'Is this actually what Jesus intended?'”
It’s the Tuesday after Easter, and I’m asking the hard questions: What now? How did we get from the raw, bold, and selfless family of God in the Book of Acts to the version of "church" we see today? I’ll be honest—sometimes I’m challenged by the disconnect. I’m hungry for the power of the early church, not just the comfort of modern tradition.
What was it about them that made them so different? The Holy Spirit, yes, but how did we get from there to where we are today, and what was the family culture?
- Oneness: Staying aligned when we don't look or think the same.
- Boldness: Stepping forward wherever God calls us to.
- Generosity: Living so that no one in the family goes in need.
- Courage: Showing up, moving forward, no matter what.
- Selflessness: Putting down "me" for the sake of "us."
- Love & Grace: The two filters that change everything.
But how do we actually live this out? We can't unless we stay connected with the Lord and continually renew our minds to think like Him on things. This requires a surrendered life.
Let's stop just "doing" church and start letting Him transform us from the inside out.
