Lanterns Episode 5 felt more like a season finale than the halfway point—and Adam and Alex have plenty of theories about what comes next.

In this episode of SpitTake Podcast, we break down the explosive confrontation between Hal Jordan and John Stewart, the mystery surrounding Hal’s apparent murder, the Manhunter’s true identity, and how Guy Gardner could enter the story. We also explore possible connections to Gotham, Batwoman, the Red Lanterns, Atrocitus, and the future of the DCU.

Then we review the Supergirl movie, including Milly Alcock’s performance as Kara Zor-El, Jason Momoa’s scene-stealing appearance as Lobo, Krypto’s role in the story, and the shortcuts that keep the movie from reaching its full potential. Does Lobo deserve his own movie? Was Supergirl unfairly judged at the box office? And has streaming permanently changed which movies are worth seeing in theaters?
