In today’s Brain Squeeze episode, I’m breaking down All-Star Weekend in LA! From the early start times and empty seats, to the lackluster dunk contest that had people saying “cancel it altogether.”
Were we just more impressed as kids? Or have the standards quietly left the building?
I get into why I think the issue runs deeper — from stars not participating in the dunk contest, to the loss of rite-of-passage moments, to the shift from love of the game to protecting the brand.
