A proposito di questo titolo
The lessons of the Iranian revolution have been learned in blood and death these past five decades. Every inch of Western society is touched by the Islamic government there as it tries to achieve supremacy throughout the Middle East using its proxies like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis and even attempt to become a nuclear weapon state in order to threatened Europe and the United States. The scourge has been imported into our countries now and is becoming more powerful every day as they win elected office in places like New York City and Minneapolis. We cannot stand by and be passive as we watch another attempt to overthrow the Mullahs by the Iranian people once again. With the internet blackout continuing it is difficult to tell what is happening in Iran on the ground. The limited reports we are getting is that the protests are continuing but tens of thousands of unarmed protesters are being killed every night. My guest today is Juliana Taimoorazy, the founder the Iraqi Christian Relief Council organized to shine a light on the plight of Christians in her ancestral homeland and raise funds to deliver food, shelter and medicine to Iraq. Her own unique story as a refugee has made her a strong leader and an unshakable voice for Christians and other minorities in the Middle East today. Born and raised in Iran, she has direct contact with the Iranians in exile as well as connections with people inside the country, so we’re discussing the current political and humanitarian conditions in Iran. Taimoorazy has advised many U.S. based organizations and institutions, has consulted on developing policy and as a leading international advocate, is a two time Nobel Peace Prize nominee for advancing awareness of persecution of Christians and other minorities in the Middle East.
