My favourite quote of the episode is "It spurs them on, it gives them inspiration to keep going. It's kind of irrational in some ways that we would do something just for a little bit of metal that we are probably gonna put on a wall and we are never gonna see it again. We're not gonna do that. But the, the joy and the sense of accomplishment that children get, having a medal placed around their shoulders, I think it just makes their day. And it's just one of the things that makes Swan River Half a fantastic event for the whole family."
