They travel to several towns, including Salamis and Perga, preaching the word of God and performing miracles, including striking a sorcerer blind and healing a crippled man. We witness the challenges and opposition they face, the division among Jews and Gentiles, and their firm resolve to spread the Good News. They return to Antioch of Syria to report on their mission, only to encounter a debate about the necessity of circumcision for Gentile converts. The apostles and elders in Jerusalem, led by Peter and James, resolve this dispute, easing the burden on Gentile believers. Finally, after an intense disagreement, Barnabas and Paul part ways, with Paul continuing his journey, accompanied by Silas and later Timothy, strengthening faith in the burgeoning Christian communities.
