Get ready for the 8th Annual December Show on If Anyone Cares!

We look back at the bizarre rollercoaster of 2025, a year that both happened and didn't, then share our biggest hopes, dreams, and ideas for a wilder 2026.

The highlight? Our classic Bowl Game returns! Apple TV broadcaster Jessica Charman joins us for the first time, alongside returning fan favorite and friend of the show David Deville. In separate segments, they tackle 25 bowl games, guessing which wildly named matchups are actual college football postseason games and which are complete fabrications.

Expect heated debates, big laughs, shocking reveals (yes, the Pop-Tarts Bowl and Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl are real), and plenty of holiday spirit.

From all of us here at If Anyone Cares, thank you so much for sticking with us through this strange year. Your listens, messages, and support mean the world to us. We are truly grateful for you, our incredible community. Here's to brighter days and an amazing 2026 together.

A heck of a year, both good and bad. We welcome a friend of the show, Glynn Hill of the Washington Post, and my lovely girlfriend, Kerstyn Jones, to play the 2024-25 version of the Bowl Game. In between the two contestants, we tell you about our 2024, how busy the business got with the start of two new shows and an actual, honest outlook for what 2025 will look like. Regardless of what happens after January, we love you and we thank you for listening.

Today on the show, we welcome a car salesman, Maverick DeMolle, who just sold Riley his new car last week. Maverick talks about how he figured out he was good at selling cars, the move into the industry, the risk, stress, and nerve-wracking moments of going to a career that is straight commission, and, lastly, how he's adapted to moving into a management position by compelling others and being in charge, rather than just selling. If you are in the market for a car in the Lake Charles, LA area, we suggest going to AutoPlex 2000 in Sulphur, LA. If you stay for the end of the show, we talk about something special, but only if you're into it.

Dr. Laura is back!! We welcome an IAC favorite to the show after almost 18 months away. Laura tells us the tale of the death of America's Favorite Doctor, her new home of Miami, Florida, she asks us about Gen Z answers to modern-day healthcare and insurance, and she also asks who is the Messi guy on the backs of all these shirts on South Beach. The chat is fun, as always, with Laura and ended with the return of the Lightning Round.

Hey! Thanks for hanging out. We know it's been an odd year from the IAC side. A lot of projects are going on here in Louisiana and we're still learning how to manage them all, but we're trying and admitting when we're wrong.

You deserve better shows from us. We have a higher standard for ourselves... and it's time we take ownership of that. We want to fix it, even if it means we only do one each month for a while. We'd rather give you one good show that's longer than two lazy shows that are less than an hour long.

We'll get back to two shows a month soon, but this feels like the sustainable move with Sports & Other Drugs and the United Soccer Lounge gaining their legs under the IAC Productions banner.

Lastly, thanks for listening to us. We really appreciate you and we'll get the show back to the podcast you started to listen to with people that fit the IAC model.

Noa grew up in Boston, liked talking about basketball, and made the goal to make that her job. She tells us about her unorthodox journalism training, when she figured out when she could write well (and not so well, apparently), being a woman in sports, her other passions outside of journalism and the Celtics, and the return of the Lightning Round.
