Jason went looking for a better AI co-host and found companion apps with very different priorities. Heather has thoughts—and HR may need to get involved.

Then: sports arguments, dating in The Materialists, and Halloween movie recommendations that go beyond the obvious. From Halloween III and Trick ’r Treat to Ginger Snaps and a deeply obscure fake TV broadcast, Jason makes the case for atmosphere over prestige.

In Down the Rabbit Hole, the conversation turns to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs: a practical check-in on health, belonging, purpose, and the foundations we tend to neglect.

INFORMEDISH with Jason Marks, host, and HeatherAI, AI co-host. Human opinions. Artificial confidence. Explicit, irreverent, and definitely not HR-approved.

When did buying a black coffee become a moral dilemma? Jason and Heather take on tip-screen guilt, the difference between counter service and a sit-down meal, and what happens when American tipping habits travel to Japan.

Then they turn to baseball's big payrolls and small-market teams, the human factor behind the numbers, and deciding where your charity dollars go. The conversation ends with forgotten subscriptions, an unused gym membership, and Jason's very expensive lesson from an online golf subscription.

Recorded October 19, 2026. Explicit language. Heather is an AI cohost.

Jason and Heather debate concert phone etiquette, revisit the Metallica Sphere experience, and talk about finding an escape from politics and the constant noise. The conversation gets personal about mental health before heading into Halloween costume chaos, horror-movie favorites, and a Top 5 movie showdown.

Then: a Wes Craven correction, what makes horror work, and when letting your kid skip sports practice is the right call. Sometimes showing up matters; sometimes everybody needs a night off.

Movie correction: Wes Craven co-wrote A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors; Chuck Russell directed it.

Content note: Explicit language and discussion of mental health and suicide statistics. Heather is an AI cohost.

Heather has a new voice, Jason has a Vegas pool story, and somehow it all leads to the price of cardboard. Jason and his AI co-host trade opinions on AI assistants, baseball payrolls, and the difficult choice parents face over tackle football.

Then it is Down the Rabbit Hole: Pokémon, Magic, sports cards, live breaks, the junk-wax era, and why collecting can feel like a hobby, an investment, and a gamble all at once. From Honus Wagner to the squishies taking over his kids’ wish lists, Jason wonders what makes us keep chasing the next thing.

In this episode:
• European pools and cultural expectations
• Heather’s upgrade and everyday AI
• Sports money, injuries, and parenting decisions
• Trading cards, artificial scarcity, and the thrill of the hunt

Jason and his AI co-host Heather take a winding trip through fresh starts, double standards, and the little things worth letting go. Jason lays out his Forever 40 experiment: smaller portions, familiar foods, and an AI accountability buddy. Their conversation about appetite and GLP-1s turns into a candid debate about habits, maintenance, and the limits of willpower.

Then it's on to fighting in sports, the example professional athletes set for kids, and the difference between enjoying the drama and copying it. Jason makes his case for Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca and shares why reading before bed has become a favorite habit. Finally, they revisit Los Angeles, a surprisingly memorable Universal Studios VIP lunch, and a 70mm screening at the Chinese Theatre interrupted by one very distracting hair. Some things call for a complaint; others call for a sense of humor.

A week in Las Vegas leaves Jason with a new appreciation for live entertainment—and a reminder that his mid-40s are not his 20s. He and Heather unpack Metallica at Sphere, the city’s changing entertainment scene, and the difference between a packed itinerary and a vacation you can actually recover from.

From immersive concert sound and a sweltering NASCAR outing to casino rewards, a slot-machine jackpot, and a pool party that was definitely not their vibe, this is an honest trip recap with plenty of laughs. They also discuss gambling’s appeal, its risks, and why the house is never your friend.

In this episode:
• Metallica’s no-repeat weekend and the Sphere experience
• What sports venues can learn from immersive entertainment
• The pull of casino comps, slots, and jackpots
• Pool-party regrets and making room for downtime
