Revelation 3:17, Christ acknowledges the flaws, by using “naked” or “blind” state yet still sees the church as a beautiful gathering of broken people who have been redeemed often described as a mosaic held together by grace.
John 17 is known as the High Priestly Prayer of Jesus. Jesus prayed for his immediate disciples as well as for all future believers. Contained in that prayer was Jesus’ call for Unity among believers because it serves as a testimony to the world.
