Antony and Cleopatra
Love or land grab?
Ep.2 (part 2 of 2)
Antony and Cleopatra’s passionate affair, culminating in their infamous deaths, echoes through the halls of romance fame. Shakespeare wrote a long play about it, Elizabeth Taylor starred in an even longer movie, and poets have written some long-arsed poems.
But did they die for each other, or were they pushed to the brink by forces bigger than love? Were they star-crossed lovers, or was it a land grab from the very beginning? And most importantly, did Anthony look sexy in sandals?
For this week's pod, host, and hopeless romantic, Alfrun Rose is joined by her gorgeous little sister and bff 4eva, Embla.
Note: This is a podcast for adults about romance, and everything that involves so if that makes you blush, you know what to do.
