Lehlohonolo Mayeza is a dynamic and outspoken actor, director, and producer from Lesotho, best known for his breakout role as Leruo Tseole in the award-winning telenovela The Outlaws, aired on Showmax. Born in Ha-Tjope, a remote village in the mountains of Lesotho, Lehlohonolo’s journey to stardom is one of resilience and grit. After losing his parents at a young age and facing homelessness in Maseru for nearly nine months, he pursued his passion for storytelling and earned a qualification in Film and Television Production from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Lehlohonolo began acting in 2017, appearing in local TV series and commercials. His performance in the viral trailer for Masikong caught the attention of South African producers, leading to his casting in The Outlaws—a modern-day Western drama that explores the tensions between Zulu cattle farmers and Basotho cattle raiders.
