Progress doesn't always look pretty, but it still counts.
I’m Chelsea Moye, and on today’s episode of Chelsea’s Chaos Chronicles, I’m sharing a real-time check-in on writing, chronic illness, and mental health... right in the middle of medication withdrawal and brain fog.
I walk you through my current work-in-progress, Murphy’s Law of the Jungle, how I’m using 10-minute micro sprints to get words on the page, and what progress looks like when your system is very much not cooperating. We talk honestly about depression, clumsiness, headaches, and why stopping a medication that was making things worse was a necessary (but rough) step.
I also check in on my quarterly goals around health, work-life balance, and gratitude, and explain why I’m making a conscious effort to actually use my planners, journals, and creative supplies daily instead of letting them gather dust. (There might be a little bit of spite involved.) This episode isn’t about hustle or perfection; it’s about grace, small wins, and continuing to show up even when things are hard.
If you’re a chronically ill creative, a writer navigating foggy days, or someone learning how to be kinder to themselves while still moving forward, this episode is for you.
