The Montreal Alouettes face a massive offseason after the permanent banning of Johnny Manziel and the firing of head coach Gary Sherman. With a 5-13 record and severe roster instability, the team must rebuild from the ground up.

Geno Lewis emerges as the starting quarterback following Manziel's departure and concussion issues. Lewis showcased his dual-threat ability with a 61-yard trick-play touchdown pass to George Johnson during a 31-14 loss to Winnipeg. Despite the highlight, the offense struggled with five sacks allowed to Manziel.

Fans discuss the CFL's decision to bar Manziel from other teams, the evaluation of Lewis's potential, and predictions for the 2027 season. The hosts project a difficult rebuild ahead, expecting an external head coach hire and a challenging path to recovery.
