When did you become so aware of how other people see you? One minute your body is just your body. Then something shifts. You start checking photos differently, noticing comments more, wondering what other people are seeing when they look at you.
And the strange thing is, your body can change faster than your sense of who you are.
In this episode of Headstraight, we talk about self-consciousness, growing up, unwanted attention, comparison, and what happens when you start looking at yourself through everybody else’s eyes. Because being seen and being known are two very different things.
And somewhere amongst all those opinions, reactions and assumptions, there’s still you.
