What happens when a guy who's scared of horror ends up playing a paranormal investigator?
On this episode of Cyrus Says, actor Karan Tacker joins Cyrus Broacha for a conversation that goes from career struggles and family businesses to ghosts, haunted places and everything in between.
Karan opens up about growing up in Mumbai, working in his father's garment business, and how the 2008 recession forced his family to shut down their retail stores. He talks about finding his way into acting, landing his first advertising campaign, making it big on television, and eventually taking a chance on OTT with Special Ops and Khakee.
The conversation also gets into his love for family, why he's stopped chasing Bollywood parties, his Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa experience, and the career advice Neeraj Pandey gave him.
And then things get spooky.
Karan shares what went into making Bhay, based on paranormal investigator Gaurav Tiwari, why the shoot affected him so much, and what happened when he visited Delhi's Malcha Mahal. Let's just say he wasn't too keen on sleeping alone afterwards.
Plus, there's plenty of Cyrus being Cyrus.
Watch the full episode for career stories, unexpected confessions and a very long ghost story.
