On this episode of Unlocked, Savannah Chrisley sits down with former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom for a conversation that goes way beyond basketball. Enes shares what it was like growing up in Turkey, leaving home at just 17 years old to pursue his dream in America, and the experiences that completely changed the way he sees the world. From hilarious stories about adjusting to American culture to being the first biological male to declare for the WNBA draft, Enes has a story unlike anything you've heard before.

But what really stands out is what Enes was willing to sacrifice for his beliefs. He opens up about speaking out against the Turkish government, criticizing China and Nike, and ultimately walking away from millions of dollars because he refused to stay silent. He also shares the heartbreaking reality of being separated from his family for nearly 14 years, the threats he’s faced, and what becoming an American citizen meant to him after everything he’s been through.

We also get into some wild stories from his 11 seasons in the NBA, his experience getting kicked out of a WNBA game, and why he believes standing up for what you believe in should matter more than money, politics, or public opinion. This conversation is a reminder that sometimes doing what you believe is right comes with a price.
