A locked gate, a body tucked under a maintenance tarp, and a camera bag still on her shoulder - Beverly Nelson was found face down at 7:41 a.m. with eleven dollars and her credentials untouched; what had she seen and why had she crossed out the one line in her ledger? Who would arrange a scene after the violence and leave no sign of forced entry?
In this episode, we present the sequence of events from Beverly's arrival at the Meridian County Fairgrounds through the discovery of her body and the puzzling evidence that followed, tracing the ledger entry, the recovered photographs, and the deputy who refused to accept the obvious answer: what did that crossed-out notation conceal?
