IRREDEEMABLE with Charles Smith

Children should not be sentenced to die in prison.

Outgrow Survival. Demand Restoration.

Welcome to IRREDEEMABLE with Charles Smith -conversations from inside on harm, healing, and who gets another chance. This show features Charles Smith III-a writer, poet, and advocate who has spent more than two decades incarcerated inside a maximum securityprison in Virginia. At 16 he was sentenced to 69 years. Children should not be sentenced to die in prison. Accountability matters. The harm caused matters. But a child is still developing and capable of change. These are not conversations about excuses, they are conversations about responsibility, transformation, and what it means to believe that no child is beyond redemption.

CORE MISSION: Ending the cycle of survival by dismantling extreme juvenile sentencing, advocating for second chances, and empowering Black men to mentor the next generation before the system claims them.
