SCP-087 is an unlit staircase hidden behind a secured door on the campus of [REDACTED].
Its stairs descend farther than the surrounding building — or even the geology beneath it — should physically allow.
From somewhere deep below comes the sound of a child crying.
Exploration teams have descended hundreds of meters searching for its source.
They never get closer.
And they are not alone in the stairwell.
