A 35-year-old man has been charged, accused of stealing camera equipment belonging to Peter Meagher, a 61-year-old retired police officer and freelance photographer who was killed in the Bondi Beach terror attack at the Hanukkah by the Sea festival in December. Police allege the man, who was working as a photographer at the event, stole Meagher's camera during the chaos and pawned it days later for a few hundred dollars. During a search of the accused's Marayong home, police recovered the camera's memory card containing final photos of the attack victims, and allegedly found prohibited drugs in his car.
