A proposito di questo titolo
This one is personal.
In this episode, I open up about my journey with mental health medications—specifically long-term SSRI use—and what it’s really like living a life dependent on them. For years, this was my normal… but not without consequences.
I talk about my own attempt to come off SSRIs—and the reality of just how brutal that experience was. If you’ve ever tried, or even thought about it, you’ll understand exactly what I mean.
We also get into the bigger picture. I touch on the recent push for research into ibogaine following a bill signed by Donald Trump, and why this could be a game-changer for people struggling with mental health and dependency.
I also share the story of someone I deeply respect, Jordan Peterson, and his battle with neurological injury tied to medication—something that hit close to home for me.
This episode isn’t about telling anyone what to do. It’s about sharing my experience, the highs, the lows, and the hope that there may be another path forward.
If you or someone you love is navigating mental health, medication, or the idea of coming off—this conversation matters. I hope you enjoy the episode and thank you for listening.
