In the last episode, Robin thought he’d found Poppy’s previous owner. A Mrs. Bulaski had owned a Pekingese when she died, but her grandson, Raoul Rankin had taken the dog with him when he left. Robin decided to focus on finding Poppy a new owner rather than continue his quest to find out about her previous one.
In this episode, Robin and Mary start learning how they will be earning their pay for working at the shelter. Mary is confident about being able to train the shelter dogs to walk on a leash and that the dogs will be adopted as soon as they are trained. Robin is not so sure, but feels more optimistic after talking things over with Greg Peterson, Bombo’s owner.
