Maybe you've read the Jack West Jr series, or the Scarecrow series - or maybe 'Hover Car Racer', 'The Tournament', 'The Great Zoo Of China', 'Cobalt Blue', 'The Secret Runners Of New York', 'Mr Enstein's Secretary' - Australian author Matthew Reilly has written some absolute bangers and is a bestselling writer all over the world.

Throw in his own film 'Interceptor' and Reilly is just killing it - and he's back with another new adventure featuring a brand new hero in 'The Detective'.

Matthew joins me to talk about his influences behind the story, how long he wants readers to take to read his books and the story behind a special supporting character in 'The Detective'...named after my own brother.
