We're back! Season 2 begins here, with this week's idea: recapping the highs and lows of our summer. We cover a lot of ground, including Scotland's unfortunate showing at the World Cup, swimming in the Seine, and the scandalous conversation Ashley overheard at the Scottish Podcast Awards...

This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest, Alex McMillan: "Guess the Drink". Alex, quiz writer, game designer, and comedian, invites us to prepare a mystery drink and take turns guessing what we've each got in our cups. Bottoms up!

This week's idea: "The Discourse Generation Game". Join Ashley and Ross as they play the hottest new game around – competing to see who can create the most discourse-worthy stories about random celebrities.

This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest, Lauren Dick: "Trend It or End It?" Comedian, writer and all-round super mum Lauren pitches her pod in which a group of Millennials sit and chat about what's in or out and whether we're liking the trends or ending them - sadly however, Ashley is, of course, a Gen Z Cusper so we had to just make do.

This week's idea comes courtesy of our producer David Allan: "What's the Name of the Game?". Our very own audio whizz David is back to present his gaming quiz show, and it's another Ashley v Ross showdown - that can only mean fireworks!

This week's idea: "The Chase: After the Hunt". Join us this week as Ashley combines the two loves of her life: The Chase and talking. We discuss Chaser statistics, our own Chaser alter egos, and recap an episode we watched, complete with awards for best and worst answers and more! The Chase: After the Hunt... is... on.

This week's idea comes courtesy of our guest, Zara Gladman: "Home Truths". Zara, comedian and sometimes West End Mum, pitches us her pod about living together. We get introspective about what we're like to live with and listen to voice notes from our old flatmates.

This week's idea: "The Ashcademy Ashwards (The R-Oscars)". Join Ashley and Ross as they discuss the upcoming 98th Oscars, make their predictions, suggest some alternate nominations and hand out Oscars in their own original categories.
