Welcome to the first episode of Let's Get Political. A podcast to help us better flex our political muscle.
Today's episode - How do we work our democracy? (Also, what is it?)
Your hosts Skye Riggs (Founder of Y Vote) and Stacey June (The Stacey June Show / The Thinkergirls) take you through the questions you may not want to say in public like where do they sit? What is the democracy? Why does it help us understand how it works when it comes to the outcome of our elections? How can we work it the same way we are encouraged to work our politicians?
We speak to Iain Walker - Director of New democracy an organisation set up to ensure citizens trust government decision making. He sets the record straight with how our democracy may need a new work out and how we can best work it ourselves.
