I sit down with Chris and Conner to discuss our 1st SUCCESSFUL western big game hunt. We had been going out west together for several years doing DIY public land hunts to no avail but in 2025, we did an elk and mule deer hunt in Colorado and Conner finally notched a mule deer tag. I also got a grouse and caught some trout.
We discuss the things we did differently from the last trip, the highs, the lows (and there were a lot of lows), altitude sickness, weird diners in small towns, why you shouldn't lose your phone in the wilderness, packing meat and more.
