In this episode, Coach Willis and Coach Teeden sit down with legendary coach Stan Van Gundy, one of the most respected voices in basketball, for a wide-ranging conversation about leadership, culture, coaching, and what it takes to build successful teams.

Throughout his career, Stan has coached at the college and NBA levels, leading teams including the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, and New Orleans Pelicans. He led the Orlando Magic to the 2009 NBA Finals and has spent years studying, teaching, and analyzing the game at the highest level.

The conversation dives into leadership, building a championship culture, developing players, managing personalities, establishing standards, and leading a coaching staff. Stan shares lessons from his experiences in the NBA, the importance of adapting to the people you lead, and the challenges of balancing accountability, relationships, and performance.

Stan also reflects on the lessons he's learned throughout his coaching career, the mistakes that shaped him, and what high school and college coaches can take away from his experiences. Whether you're a head coach, assistant coach, teacher, or leader looking to build a stronger team, this episode offers valuable insight into the mindset behind sustained success.

At the heart of the conversation is a question that drives the podcast: How are you wired?
