    May 22 2023
Performing the housing crisis. We are at an aerial acrobatics rehearsal for the Brighton Fringe circus show called Home: The Intimacy of Debt and Inequality. In this first episode, academic researcher Mareike Beck and aerial performers Carolyn, Sita and Juice talk about the joys and perils of homes. We discuss how academic concepts about housing, debt and inequality encounter aerial acrobatics. Can this fusion be a creative way to translate academic research into performative arts to engage with different audiences?
