The marathon is finally over. All 82 games of the regular season have been played, Austin Reaves played in all 82 and since Evan forgot to mention that on the pod he's mentioning it here now. Congrats Austin! You're and Ironman. We've locked up no lower than the 8 seed, and will play Denver if we win the Play-in Game and get the 7 seed. Finally we got a week of only wins to talk about. It was only three games, but it still counts. Don't take this away from me! The Lakers do still have an outside shot at the 6 seed. They just had a 5-1 road trip. Don't get your hopes up, but things are trending upwards.

The Lakers almost had their longest winning streak under Darvin Ham's tenure, but of course we can't have nice things around here. Evan was hoping for just one week this season to recap only wins. How foolish of him. Pack a bowl and join him as he lets you know what happened this week, and helps you cope with all the mediocrity.

We're on the home stretch and Evan is doing his best to not get his expectations too high. It's easier this way. Ham is still as frustrating as ever, and the players are still letting us know about it. Evan also discusses why so many NBA fans hate basketball. The Lakers get hit on the head and forget who they are and then get hit on the head again, and seem to remember. I've seen this sort of thing before. It was everywhere in my childhood. The dreaded cartoon amnesia trope. Let's hope this stops before the playoffs start. This rollercoaster is giving us all whiplash, at this point. This team is still mediocre, and Darvin Ham is still the biggest reason why. Evan is uncomfortably numb about all of this. He doesn't like it, but there isn't shit he can do about it either. The All Star Break is over, and now crunch time begins for the season. Evan's had a rough week, after feeling like he might have turned a corner, and the Lakers seem to be keeping the same pace. The intervention seems to be working, and just in time. A much needed All Star Break in the clouds has arrived. Things have improved slightly and are trending upwards.
