  • I Was The Leader of A Bloods Crew—Then Got Hit With RICO
    Oct 25 2026
Cuban Rob, also known as Roberto Bravo, joins Nelson Rodriguez Jr. on Honor Among Thieves Podcast to share his story of growing up around the cocaine and crack trade in New Jersey, joining the Latin Kings, and eventually running a drug crew in Palm Coast, Florida. In this full episode, Rob discusses his father’s criminal life, his involvement with the Latin Kings and Bloods, and how drug dealing, robberies, and extortion became part of his everyday life. One attempted robbery would have devastating consequences. While Rob was in jail, he says members of his crew targeted a drug dealer to raise money for his bail. What they didn’t all know was that Rob had previously sold guns to that dealer. A young recruit was killed during the attempt. Rob recounts the events surrounding that robbery and explains how violence, cooperating witnesses, and a Florida racketeering investigation brought his crew into a state RICO case. The conversation also explores gang politics, jailhouse informants, and the jail riot that Rob says changed his decision about accepting a five-year RICO deal. Reflecting on his past, he discusses fatherhood, starting a landscaping business, and working toward a different future. This episode of Honor Among Thieves offers a firsthand account of street crime, loyalty, betrayal, and the consequences that continue long after an arrest. • I Robbed Drug Dealers—Then Spent 5 Years on the Run
    Oct 22 2026
Scott Anthony returns to Honor Among Thieves Podcast to recount robbing drug dealers, trafficking cocaine, and spending five years on the run. In episode 102, he joins Nelson Rodriguez Jr. to discuss his early days with Chicago’s Simon City Royals, armed robberies, and cocaine runs between South Florida and Chicago. Scott describes escaping a Georgia traffic stop after police discovered cocaine in his luggage, spending three days in the woods, and the robberies he committed to finance his life as a fugitive. The conversation also explores Scott’s life in Mexico and his personal connections to old-school Mexican cartel figures. He describes friendships with Rafael Caro Quintero and Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, says he was hired as Caro Quintero’s physical trainer before his release from prison, and recalls teaching martial arts to cartel figures and their children. Scott also discusses his Cuban cigar-smuggling years, his experiences in federal custody, and the stories behind his books, Street Raised and Smoke: Confessions of a Cuban Cigar Smuggler. Beyond the money and escapes, Scott opens up about the consequences of street life: friends cooperating with federal authorities, the limits of criminal loyalty, and the danger of doing business with organized crime figures. He recounts collection jobs and gambling-related work for the Chicago mob, including an unsettling conversation about how quickly greed can outweigh friendship. The episode also examines his efforts to leave that life behind, build a legitimate fitness business, and give his children opportunities he never had. • My Family Were Miami Kingpins—Then I Got In the Game
    Oct 18 2026
OG BBE joins **Honor Among Thieves Podcast** to share how growing up in a family of Miami kingpins shaped his own entry into the drug game. From his father’s street connections to his brother Boss Man Sawyer’s reputation and his uncle’s cocaine business, he describes a childhood surrounded by money, influence, addiction, and prison sentences. He explains what it meant to carry his family’s name—and how he eventually started hustling himself. Starting as a lookout at approximately 12 years old, OG BBE recounts his progression from earning $200 a week to what he describes as $10,000 nights selling crack cocaine in Miami. He discusses dealing through a hurricane, operating on a corner where his brother had once sold drugs, and eventually moving into wholesale cocaine with his uncle as his supplier. Along the way, he reflects on the gambling, expensive cars, robberies, and violence that accompanied his rise in Miami’s drug trade. The conversation follows his arrest, a retaliatory shooting at his mother’s house, and his time in Florida state prison, including Santa Rosa Correctional Institution. OG BBE also opens up about losing his uncle shortly before his release, taking responsibility for the people he hurt, and building a different life through fatherhood and music. This episode explores Miami crime history through one man’s account of family influence, drug trafficking, incarceration, and redemption.
