  • Who Do You Think You Are? Imitating Christ Without Taking His Job
    Oct 29 2026

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in Matthew 11 today. The people in Jesus’ time were just like our generation, always seeking knowledge, trying to get by on their own. Yet those who think they are something, who think they are wise or smart or better off, are nothing. You can’t teach someone who thinks they know everything. You can’t give someone something who has everything. We need to come to Jesus as children who have nothing and know nothing, because that is how we will learn and grow. Our job as believers is to make sure others hear about Jesus, because that is all that they need, and that is all that we are asked to do.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20

  • Principles Of Conscience: The Holy Spirit Should Decide Right And Wrong
    Oct 20 2026

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in Romans 14 today. Most people believe that all of our choices should be dictated by what the Bible says. However, the Bible doesn’t cover everything, which is why the Holy Spirit is our conscience. And as surprising as it sounds, not everyone has the same convictions on certain things. Some people feel guilty over eating meat, or celebrating Halloween, or which Christian artist to listen to. But one person’s conviction over such matters cannot decide what should or should not be the standard. So let your convictions be your convictions, and let others have their own convictions, and if the Holy Spirit asks you to change something, you’d better listen, because that is the moment that it becomes sin. To live by a list of your own rules is to put on a burden that Jesus died to take off. So examine your choices. Is this something you decided, or is it something the Holy Spirit told you was right or wrong?

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20

  • Suffer With Intention, It Just May Save Souls
    Oct 11 2026

Greetings everyone, and may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. We will be in 1 Peter 4 today. As Christians, suffering is all but guaranteed. But is suffering something we actively seek out, or just a side effect of being faithful? The end is coming, and has been coming ever since Jesus first left this earth. When you wake up, is your first priority to go out and say or do things that will cause you to suffer, or is self preservation on your mind? This goes against the natural instinct, but this also results in souls being saved. By choosing to rock the boat, poke the bear, or shake the metaphorical hornet’s nest, we may get hurt, but as a result, the Gospel may be proclaimed, and lives will be changed as a result. You may not always get the desired result, but that’s not our job. Lost people are very unlikely to stumble into Christianity by themselves (not that it can’t happen). That’s why God uses people like you and me to live a life that Jesus lived so that souls can be saved. We are going to suffer regardless, use it for His will.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20
