  • Here I Am
    Oct 28 2026

Have you ever heard someone call your name in the middle of the night? Young Samuel did — three times! Every time, he hopped out of bed, ran across the cold stone floor to Eli the priest, and said, Here I am! But Eli hadn’t called him. Someone else was calling Samuel by name, Someone he had never heard before. Come along to the First Book of Samuel, chapters 1 through 3, to meet Hannah, who prayed for years for a baby boy, and the boy who learned to say, Speak, Lord, for Thy servant hears.

  • Where in the World Is Paul? Suit Up!
    Oct 21 2026

A letter just came in the mail, and it’s about two thousand years old. It’s from Paul, who walked, sailed, and got shipwrecked (more than once!) telling the world about Jesus, then wrote letters to his friends from all kinds of places. So before we read this one, there’s a mystery to solve: Where in the world is Paul? Grab your magnifying glass and follow the clues. Come along to Ephesians, chapter 6, and suit up in the whole armor of God!

  • Be Still
    Oct 14 2026

God’s people are finally free — until they look back and see every chariot in Egypt racing after them. In front of them, the sea. Behind them, Pharaoh’s army. Nowhere to go. But the God who has been leading them all along, as a walking pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, isn’t finished yet, and Moses tells the frightened crowd exactly what to do: The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be still. Come along to Exodus, chapters 13 and 14, to walk on dry ground right through the middle of the sea, and to practice being still with the God who always leads the way.

  • Let My People Go
    Oct 7 2026

A note for grown-ups: this episode covers the ten plagues and the first Passover. The tenth plague is named in one sentence and handled gently, with the focus on God’s rescue — but you may want to listen alongside your youngest.

Moses was a prince of Egypt, then a runaway, then a shepherd for forty long years — until one ordinary day, a bush caught fire and didn’t burn up. God sent him back to stand in front of the most powerful king on earth and say four words: Let my people go. Pharaoh answered with a question: “Who is the Lord?” Over ten plagues, including frogs in the beds and a throne full of them, he found out. Come along to Exodus, chapters 2 through 13, to meet the God who sees, hears, and knows, and who held the door to safety open for anyone willing to trust Him.

  • Drawn Out of the Water
    Sep 30 2026

A king made three plans to get rid of God’s people. Not one of them worked. Pharaoh worked God’s people until their lives were bitter, and there were more of them than ever. He ordered two midwives to do the exact opposite of their job — and they quietly did the right thing anyway. So he turned the river into a weapon, and the river is exactly how a baby boy was saved: a mother with a basket, and a big sister brave enough to speak up in front of a princess. Come along to Exodus, chapters 1 and 2, for the first trip in the story of Moses — and for what God is doing in all the long years when it looks like nothing is happening at all.

  • Where Are the Nine?
    Sep 23 2026

Ten men were healed. One came back. Ten men had a sickness that meant they weren't allowed to live in their own town anymore. So when Jesus came walking down the road, they stood far off and shouted for help. And Jesus didn't heal them right then — He told them to go see the priest. So they turned around and started walking, still sick, every one of them. Somewhere out on that road, it happened. Nine of them ran for home; one turned back to say thank you, and he's the very last person in the whole story anybody would have picked. Come along to Luke, chapter 17, for a story about the kind of walking you do before you can see how it turns out — and about stopping long enough to say thank You.

  • Secret Mission: Mercy
    Sep 16 2026

Today, adventurers, you're not getting a story. You're getting a MISSION. Your assignment is to show mercy to others. Four missions (plus a bonus one that's the hardest of them all) send you after the kid with no lunch, the new kid clutching his backpack, the friend who's been out sick for two weeks, and the person everybody forgot. Then comes the classified part, straight from Jesus in Matthew, chapter 25 — and it changes who you were really helping the whole time.

  • The Whittled-Down Army
    Sep 9 2026

What if God asked you to fight a battle — and then kept making your army smaller? Gideon was hiding in a winepress, threshing wheat where raiders couldn't spot him, when an angel showed up and called him a "mighty man of valor." Gideon's honest reply? Are you sure you've got the right guy? Come along for secret raids, smashing jars, blazing torches, and an army that God shrinks from thirty-two thousand down to three hundred — on purpose (Judges 6–7). It turns out the power was never in the size of the army. It was in whose army it was.
