A simple journal prompt led to an unexpected realization: maybe the parts of ourselves we reject during healing were never the problem. Maybe the wound and the gift were simply tangled together.

In this episode, I share a personal reflection on ambition, identity, and the surprising moment I realized I had exiled an authentic part of myself in an effort to heal. I explore why healing often swings like a pendulum, why overcorrection is part of the process, and how true integration happens when we return to the center with a stronger foundation.

This conversation is for anyone who has ever wondered if healing means becoming a completely different person, or if perhaps it simply means reclaiming who you were before fear took over.

In this episode:

* Why certain people and messages trigger us

* The difference between a wound and the gift hidden beneath it

* How ambition can shift from survival to authentic self-expression

* Why healing often feels like swinging between extremes

* How to recognize when a part of you is ready to come back online
