Through attending meetings and working the twelve steps with a sponsor, she experienced her own transformative healing and came to know Christ as her personal Savior. In this episode Colleen and Lisa interview Ben Erwin, the Program Manager for Healing Through the Savior: The Addiction Recovery Program of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ben shares the inside scoop on the history of the addiction recovery program in the church, the latest revision of the manual, and news of a future new family support guide. Along the way, Ben shares his personal involvement in these processes working for several years at The Church of Jesus Christ Family Services.
