On Episode 98 of The 911Strong Podcast, Aram Choe sits with Las Vegas Metro Police lieutenant, Randy Sutton who talks about his experience after having a stroke in a patrol vehicle. After his stroke, he was told by his agency his medical expenses would not be covered, even though the event happened on duty and was presumed to be work related. Because of his experience fighting for his rights, he realized other police officers across the nation have experienced the same thing. That's why he started The Wounded Blue. A non profit organization designed to provide financial relief to officers wounded or injured in the line of duty.
