A proposito di questo titolo

Slow down to the sounds of harvesting and foraging in nature on rural marshlands of the Snohomish people of Coast Salish (so called Western Washington/Pacific Northwest). Fall asleep or find calm and peace with sounds of nature including the wind in the reeds, birds singing, and chipmunks chattering. Know you’re not alone when you hear the natural white noise of living near other humans like the hum of the freeway not too far away, the quiet rumble of occasional airplanes overhead, and the thumping sound of distant neighbors also working outside.maebekind Scienza Scienze biologiche
  • Singing Spring Frogs March 2023
    Mar 28 2023

Relax to the serenade of the singing spring frogs announcing, "Spring is here!" The vernal pond behind my house is home to what sounds like hundreds of frogs who sing loud and proud every year in March, or waq̓waq̓us in Lushootseed which conveys the concept of the time frogs sing. Be comforted by the hum of distant planes proving the presence of other humans--you are not alone.

  • Rare Summer Rain Tulalip Washington August 2022
    Aug 30 2022

Fall asleep, find peace listening to Pacific Northwest rainfall, water trickling down the drain pipe, murmur of human voices close by starting their mornings, soft dog barks in the distance, quick and healing cat purr as she investigates the device, plus the faraway white noise of an airplane high in the sky. It's a rare thing to get a downpour like this so late in the summer. Luckily enough the sound was harvested and stored for future use by all you listeners.
