It's the sound of music on this episode of On the Rocks, as we chat with conductor, composer, arranger, and vocal contractor Alexander Lloyd Blake, whose work spans the concert hall, the recording studio, and the film stage. As Artistic Director of two-time Grammy-winning group Tonality, he leads one of the country's most distinctive choral ensembles. We do a deep dive into Alexander's relationship with music, coming out, the power of activism through music, his place in the industry as a queer Black man, the decade-long success of Tonality, some fun behind-the-scenes stories from his film work, celebrating America's 250th birthday, what's up ahead, and more....with co-host model and musician Steven Dehler and your sassy host with the sassy most, Alexander Rodriguez.
