He knew exactly who He was dining with - a betrayer, cowards who would flee, and followers who would deny Him. Yet to these very people, Jesus gave Himself completely. This demonstrates that Jesus doesn't wait for us to prove ourselves worthy before loving us. We are far more capable of betrayal than we think, but we are also far more loved than we could ever imagine.
