From Serving to Calling (Grow in the Lord - Part 3)

What does serving God look like when you don’t yet know where He’s leading you?

In part one of a two part conversation, Pastors Brian and Jonathan share their own stories of salvation, discipleship, serving, and calling to ministry. As they look back, they talk about the ordinary opportunities, relationships, passions, and even things that seemed like coincidences that God used to write their stories.

In Part 1, we focus on their salvation stories, the people who discipled them, and some of the seemingly small moments that became pivotal in their journeys. Neither of them could see where those first steps would eventually lead.

As we seek to make disciples who know, grow, and go, we want to be faithful with whatever God puts in front of us, even when we can't see what comes next.

How do we discover where God wants us to serve?

In this episode of Grace Talk, we continue our conversation about growing in the Lord by talking about how God has gifted and equipped each of us to serve Him and His people. We look at three things that can help us discover our place: our gifts, our passions, and our story.

We also talk about what to do when you're not sure what God has called you to do. As we seek to make disciples who know, grow, and go, we want to faithfully use what God has given us to serve Him and build up His church.

The Heart of Service

What does it really mean to serve the Lord?

In this episode of Grace Talk, we shift our focus to what it means to grow as disciples of Christ. We talk about why serving others is an important part of spiritual growth and why biblical service is about much more than simply doing a task. We also look at the heart behind our service and consider some of the motivations God gives us in serving.

As we seek to make disciples who know, grow, and go, we want to be people who don't simply serve, but who serve the Lord with the right heart and motivation.
